My family immigrated to Canada from East Africa, when I was six years old. We used to travel back and forth between countries after our move as my father remained based in Africa , due to our family business. 

In 1996, I moved to Mumbai, India for seven years. I worked as a Public Relation's officer for a leading company, the Tata Group. I used to maintain the company's high profile clientele, many of whom were part of the Bollywood entertainment industry.  In my spare time I also modeled and traveled to exotic locales. It was a beautiful experience attending the best of parties. I had a lot of fun and enjoyed every moment.

In 2003, I returned to Toronto to be with my family. It was a struggle trying to rebuild a foundation from scratch, personally and professionally. This is the time when I started to seek a spiritual element in my life's path. My lifestyle in India made me realize how we take so many things for granted.  In India I was constantly surrounded by people and materialism; towards the end of my stay, I began to question the things that really mattered to me. When I left, I realized that this was no longer important to me.   I am comfortable living a simple life, and am content to have what I need.

I am currently working for a Lifestyle company that deals with Medical and other niche services for corporations.   I am fortunate because my Guru, Swami Sai Premananda entered my life and I am working on my spiritual growth.

Some of my other interests are listening to music and attending spiritual satsangs. This is one of the best ways of getting my spirits up. I enjoy traveling to warm places, as well as exploring and learning about different cultures.
